Community engagement is a cornerstone of Universidad San Sebastián’s identity, fostering a culture of openness, connection, and integration with society. Our goal is to promote innovation by addressing regional challenges and ensuring the relevance of our educational mission. Through this commitment, we contribute to the sustainable development of Chile and its regions.

Universidad San Sebastián has four Clinical Simulation Hospitals, each spanning over 3,000 square meters and strategically located across our branches in Santiago, Concepción, Valdivia, and Puerto Montt. These state-of-the-art facilities are equipped to handle complex medical procedures, including orotracheal intubation for cardiorespiratory arrest treatment and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

It consists of a ‘floating’ classroom with a length of 57 feet and space for 15 crew members, designed by the renowned French shipyard Beneteau. This vessel prioritizes the academic activities of Expedition and Ecotourism Management students, enabling them to gain real sailing and exploration experiences, while also serving as a beacon of research and service for local communities. Its voyage will facilitate scientific expeditions in areas that are difficult to access, including hundreds of valuable and unexplored islands within our sovereignty.
