The office of the Vice-Rector for Research and Doctoral Programs at USS supports international research and development through key initiatives, including the Technology Transfer Office, which bridges research and industry, and an International Projects area, which fosters global partnerships and assists researchers in securing international funding.
Technology Transfer Office
Scientific research generates new knowledge, and this knowledge has the potential to drive innovations that benefit society and contribute to national development. At USS, the Technology Transfer Office is dedicated to transferring research outcomes to industry and the public sector. It also focuses on protecting and rewarding high-quality research and facilitating its commercialization. Through these efforts, USS aims to advance science-based innovation, creating positive impacts on industry and society while enhancing its reputation as a leader in national and international progress.
International Projects
USS actively cultivates collaborations with researchers and universities worldwide to develop impactful research projects. We welcome principal investigators, postdoctoral researchers, and PhD students to form partnerships and engage in both short and long-term stays at USS. We also provide support for preparing and submitting research proposals for international funding. Additionally, we prioritize the internationalization of our Doctoral Programs through initiatives such as co-tutelles, dual PhD awards , and more, expanding USS’s global academic reach.
