USS has successfully validated its institutional quality through both Chilean and international quality assurance systems.
The National Accreditation Commission (CNA) of Chile has renewed the Official National Accreditation for USS for an additional five years, from September 2021 to September 2026, in the areas of Institutional Management, Undergraduate Teaching, and Public Engagement.
This certification reflects the core values that drive USS: continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of academic and management processes to ensure a high-quality education for all our students.
Universidad San Sebastián is the first chilean university to be certified according to European standards. USS was accredited by the German agency AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance), demonstrating compliance with standards established by the European Union at the undergraduate level, with a focus on the Quality Assurance system and the effectiveness of the professional training process.
This accreditation, valid for six years (until December 2024), reinforces our ongoing improvement efforts over the recent years and opens new opportunities for development and internationalization.
